Crosne

The crosne is a root vegetable which stands out as a result of the ring-like thickenings on the tuber. It has a sweet, mellow and juicy flavour. The crosne can sometimes taste a little nutty. The crosne can be boiled, baked or fried like a potato once it has been washed. It's also a suitable vegetable for wokking.
